Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to join our team in a hybrid work environment, spending three days in the office and two remotely. The role focuses on detailed electrical design and project management for HV substations, with opportunities for client travel and a relocation package based on location.

Essential qualifications include a BS in Engineering, 5+ years in MV power systems design, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• This position requires a Bachelor of Science Engineering degree.
• 5+ years of experience in the design of Medium Voltage Power Systems.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects under budget and time constraints.
• Experience tracking project information such as: schedules and expenditures against budgets, preparing status reports and client interface.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience in reviewing design drawings created by others.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Take an active role in project conceptualization, work planning, and project execution.
• Work on challenging assignments that include investigating, trouble‑shooting, and solving electrical engineering issues.
• Prepare reports that present technical and project information clearly and meet client requirements and SL formats.
• Develop your career via knowledge sharing through Communities of Practice.
• May travel to client sites as needed.
