Job summary

Stantec is seeking Intermediate and Senior Civil/Structural Engineers to support its Substation Physical Electrical Teams in the United States. This role focuses on substation design, coordination with Physical Electrical teams, and leading design efforts from 13kV to 500kV with AIS and GIS experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with 8–10 years in power delivery.
• Registered PE preferred, with NCEES Record desired.
• Experience with substation design and project engineering from 13kV to 500kV.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering for design of foundations, equipment support, rigid bus and enclosures.
• Perform QA/QC of structural engineering design packages.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Review and approve drawings and calculations for compliance and quality.
• Coordinate resources across US and internationally for project execution.
