Job summary

Stantec is seeking Intermediate and Senior Civil/Structural Engineers to support our Substation Physical Electrical Teams. This role requires an excellent communicator and problem solver who thrives in a proactive, client-focused environment.

You will contribute to design and coordination activities across multiple offices in the US, ensuring quality, timely deliverables and strong client relationships while supporting project planning and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineers on substation design projects.
• Ability to coordinate across offices and disciplines.
• Strong client communication and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering efforts for foundations, equipment supports, bus and enclosures for power delivery projects.
• Perform QA/QC of structural engineering design packages.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to meet timelines for engineering deliverables.
• Allocate resources and track project man-hours.
• Review and approve design drawings and calculations for substation packages.
