Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a Senior Substation Engineer to lead HV substation design within a project team. You will conceptualize, plan, and execute engineering tasks, produce clear reports, and collaborate across disciplines.

The role offers a hybrid schedule (three days in the office, two remote) with relocation support for eligible candidates and opportunities to advance through knowledge sharing and practice communities.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• 7+ years in design of Medium Voltage Power Systems.
• Experience tracking schedules and expenditures against budgets.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience reviewing design drawings and using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization, work planning, and project execution on HV substations.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve a variety of electrical engineering issues.
• Prepare clear reports meeting client requirements and company formats.
• Share knowledge through Communities of Practice and peer-learning.
• May travel to client sites as needed.
