Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to lead MV power system design within a project team. You will participate in conceptualization, planning, and execution while solving complex electrical engineering challenges and preparing client-ready reports.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two remote days, plus a relocation package depending on location. Strong communication and design-review skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science engineering degree required.
• 7+ years of MV power systems design experience.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Experience tracking schedules, budgets, and client interface.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication.
• Experience reviewing design drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to project conceptualization, planning, and execution.
• Investigate and solve electrical engineering issues.
• Prepare reports meeting client requirements and S&L formats.
• Share knowledge through Communities of Practice.
• Possibility to travel to client sites.
