Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to join a project team focused on detailed electrical design and project management for high voltage substations. You will contribute to concept development, planning, execution, and client-facing reporting.

The role supports hybrid work with three days in the office and two remote days, plus potential relocation assistance depending on location. Strong experience in MV power systems is required.

Qualifications

• This position requires a Bachelor of Science Engineering degree.
• 5+ years of experience in the design of Medium Voltage Power Systems.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects under budget and time constraints.
• Experience tracking project information such as schedules and expenditures against budgets, preparing status reports and client interface.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in project conceptualization, work planning, and project execution.
• Support challenging assignments including investigating, trouble-shooting, and solving electrical engineering issues.
• Prepare reports presenting technical and project information clearly to meet client requirements and S&L formats.
• Develop career via peer-learning through Communities of Practice.
