Qualifications
- ABET-accredited degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in substation physical design engineering.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with client-facing experience.
Responsibilities
- Design power utility substations per codes and client standards.
- Create ground grids and grounding plans using industry software.
- Perform load, bus span, and ampacity calculations.
- Prepare equipment specifications and cost estimates for procurement.
- Lead QA/QC reviews and engineering design package approvals.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers.
