Job summary

Stantec is seeking Intermediate and Senior Civil/Structural Engineers to support Substation Physical Electrical Teams in Bellevue, WA. The role focuses on leading design and coordination across foundations, bus enclosures, and steel detailing for power delivery projects.

You will liaison with project managers, perform QA/QC checks, and coordinate resources across US and international offices to meet project milestones and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering or related field.
• Registered PE preferred or NCEES Record desired.
• Experience in power delivery and substation expansions.
• Strong leadership and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering for foundations, equipment support, and bus enclosures for substations.
• QA/QC of structural design packages to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with PMs and discipline leads to meet timelines.
• Allocate resources and track project man-hours.
• Review and approve design drawings and calculations for codes and standards.
• Produce station drawings with P&C team.
• Attend client interactions and status meetings.
• Participate in planning meetings and proposals.
• Coordinate resources across US and international offices.
