Saab, Inc. is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to lead high-value procurements and complex contractual work across multiple programs. This senior IC role requires navigating FAR/DFARS and FAA requirements, with responsibility for subcontracts, NDAs, and long-term agreements.

The position offers remote or on-site options, travel up to 25%, and collaboration with engineering, program teams, and Saab affiliates. A strong contracting background and U.S. government experience are essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. Government, DoD, or FAA contracts experience.
• Experience navigating FAR/DFARS contract requirements.
• Advanced purchasing experience and building orders in an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and flow down mandatory requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk.
• Assist Engineering in creating Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Issue RFIs and RFQs to subcontractors and manage the process and ensure receipt of complete information.
• Conduct flow-down analyses to ensure compliance with customer requirements, including FAR/DFARS, FAA, and international requirements.
• Negotiate and manage supplier pricing, cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Execute subcontracts, IDCT agreements, NDAs, leasing agreements, and long-term agreements.
• Write contract letters and maintain records in compliance with U.S. Government CPs.
• Support proposal costing efforts for materials and labor.
• Coordinate work across Saab, Inc. programs and affiliates; travel up to 25%.
