Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator to join our Supply Chain team. You will execute and manage high-dollar procurements with critical subcontractors, navigating FAR/DFARS requirements and contract negotiations. This role may be performed remotely or on-site.

You will create and manage SOWs through ETR release, issue RFIs/RFQs, and coordinate across multiple sites, including international. Strong negotiation, analytical, and financial skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 5+ years of experience or MBA/MS/JD with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with USG, DoD, or FAA contracts and knowledge of government contracting methods.
• Experience creating and managing SOWs through ETR release.
• Advanced purchasing experience and PO management in ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving with sound judgment and creativity.
• Financial acumen to assess cost reasonableness.

Responsibilities

• Review regulatory requirements and mitigate risk.
• Create and manage SOWs and drive through ETR release.
• Issue RFI/RFQ packages and ensure complete information.
• Conduct flow-down analyses to ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS/FAA/international standards.
• Negotiate and manage supplier pricing, cost, schedule, and performance.
• Execute Subcontracts, NDAs, Leases, and Long-Term Agreements.
• Write contract letters and maintain legal records per US Government rules.
• Support proposal costing for subcontract material and labor.
• Coordinate across multiple sites, including internationally.
• Manage supplier performance and quarterly business reviews.
• Assist with metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement.
