Qualifications

BS or MS in Civil or Structural Engineering.
7 years of structural engineering experience.
PE license preferred or in progress.
Proficiency in Revit and structural analysis software (RISA, ETABS, SAP, RAM).
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and design principles.
Proven ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to project leadership.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with client-facing experience.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving complex design challenges.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Conduct structural design and analysis using Revit, RISA, ETABS, SAP, and RAM.
Prepare and review structural plans, specifications, and calculations.
Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to align designs with project goals.
Lead and mentor junior engineers and BIM technicians, providing technical guidance and quality oversight.
Participate in client calls and meetings, offering technical input and supporting clear, professional communication.
Contribute to project budgeting, planning, and scheduling by providing accurate engineering input.
Apply knowledge of building codes, materials, and design criteria to ensure compliance and efficiency across all deliverables.
Maintain organized records of design decisions, calculations, and project documentation.
