DeSimone Consulting Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer to advance structural design from concept through construction. You will gain hands-on experience with design tools, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and grow your project management skills while delivering high-performance structures.

The role emphasizes design accuracy, field coordination, and adherence to codes with mentorship and growth opportunities in a dynamic engineering team.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Structural/Civil Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in design/analysis preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, ETABS and SAP.
• Familiarity with local/national codes and standard practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems using Revit, Rhino, ETABS and SAP.
• Prepare drawings, calculations and documentation for design deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, clients and design team members for alignment.
• Conduct field observations and inspections under senior engineer guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of design decisions, calculations and project documents.
• Contribute to project planning and scheduling discussions with Project Managers.
• Apply knowledge of codes, standards and materials to design solutions.
• Support QA by reviewing drawings and checking design accuracy.
