Job summary

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in structural or civil engineering with 1+ years of relevant coursework in structural analysis and design
• Internship experience with a structural engineering firm on mid to high-rise building projects
• Coursework in concrete, steel, wood and masonry design
• Must pass basic engineering skills test

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis using software tools such as Revit and Rhino
• Model building foundation and superstructure systems and design structural elements
• Prepare structural drawings, technical reports, and documentation
• Conduct field observations and inspections under senior guidance
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs for accuracy and compliance
• Maintain clear records of all design calculations and work products
• Communicate effectively with teammates, clients, and management to ensure project success
• Support project planning and contribute to internal operations, including timesheets and compliance with safety standards
