Job summary

DeSimone Consulting Engineering in Massachusetts seeks a Project Engineer II to support and manage structural design from concept through construction. You will collaborate with Project Managers, lead portions of the design, and ensure deliverables meet design intent, standards, and client expectations.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to project leadership while maintaining high quality, accuracy, and efficiency across all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil/structural engineering with required experience.
• 7 years for BS or 5 years for MS in structural analysis and design of mid to high-rise buildings.
• PE license preferred or in progress.
• Experience with ETABS, RAM, RISA, Rhino, PCA and SAFE.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design using Revit, Rhino, RISA, ETABS, SAP and RAM.
• Prepare structural plans, specs, and technical documentation.
• Review and approve shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with architects, clients, and agencies to align structural solutions with project goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and BIM technicians on technical tasks.
