Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead complex design deliverables, serve as Engineer of Record as required, and guide a team of EITs and BIM designers. You will manage multiple projects, review submittals, engage with clients, travel periodically, and mentor staff while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Proficiency with RAM SS, RISA 3D, ETABS, Revit, Enercalc, and Excel is required; PA PE licensure is expected, SE licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Architectural, or Civil Engineering.
• 12+ years of relevant experience; master’s may substitute 1–2 years.
• PA PE licensure; SE licensure preferred.
• Proficiency with RAM SS, RISA 3D, ETABS, Revit, Enercalc, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of complex structural design deliverables.
• Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) and perform design checks.
• Provide direction to EITs and BIM designers.
• Manage multiple projects, develop man-hour estimates, ensure compliance with standards.
• Support construction with submittals, RFIs, field issues.
• Collaborate across disciplines and track action items.
• Engage with clients to support delivery and business development.
• Conduct periodic site visits for project oversight.
• Mentor staff and provide performance feedback.
