Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced engineer to provide comprehensive engineering and consulting services for a diverse client base in Florida. The role involves leading field investigations, performing analyses, and delivering well-documented reports and plans.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Master’s preferred) and the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience
• Master’s degree in Engineering preferred
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients.
• Perform and/or lead field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations.
• Design and develop plans and specifications, observation and inspection.
• Write, prepare, and review related reports for the services provided.
• Review drawings and construction to assure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track and evaluate project progress, budgets, and recommend changes.
• Research and resolve design and construction problems.
• Assign, review, and evaluate laboratory or field data for inclusion in reports.
• Apply sound engineering principles and be able to communicate complex engineering issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams.
