Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, reports, and studies for review.
• Direct technicians and EITs for engineering documents on routine projects.
• Interface with clients alongside Project Managers.
• Visit construction sites to observe progress and conformance to plans.
• Research design criteria, regulations, and standards for design documents.
• Mentor staff in the use of design software.
• Review and approve structural designs for quality and code compliance.
• Provide guidance on complex design issues.
• Lead design teams on large or complex projects.
• Manage design effort, planning hours for the team.
• Develop EITs and mid-level engineers.
• Manage project health, including fees, schedule, and hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
