Job summary

Innova Technologies Inc., Structural Engineers seeks a senior structural engineering leader to oversee complex projects from planning through construction. You will provide technical review, serve as Engineer of Record, and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and interns.

You will perform advanced analysis for multiple materials, collaborate across teams, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective, sustainable solutions while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive structural engineering experience.
• PE license required; SE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical review and quality assurance for structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and deliverables.
• Serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects as appropriate.
• Perform advanced analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and foundation systems.
• Develop practical structural solutions balancing safety, cost, constructability, and sustainability.
• Conduct site visits and field observations as needed.
• Mentor Project Engineers, Junior Engineers, Designers, Drafters, and Interns.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and clients to resolve technical issues and support project delivery.
• Support proposals, client relationships, planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and project performance tracking.
• Maintain knowledge of current codes, standards, materials, and emerging technologies.

This position provides senior-level structural engineering leadership, technical review, and design oversight for complex projects from planning through construction. The role serves as a technical expert, mentors engineering staff, and supports delivery of high quality, code-compliant structural solutions.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
• Minimum 10 years of progressive structural engineering experience
• Experience leading complex projects, managing multiple priorities, mentoring engineers, and providing technical oversight

Certifications (Preferred unless noted)

• P.E. License required
• S.E. License preferred

Key Responsibilities
