Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional to perform substantial structural analysis and design for our projects, collaborating with the Structural Lead, other engineers, and designers to develop concepts and communicate requirements on paper and in the model. The role may require leading medium-sized projects or serving as Sub-Lead on larger projects.

A BSCE, PE license, and 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, with strong knowledge of US codes, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, structural emphasis.
• Professional Engineer License (PE) is required; SE preferred.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience with US codes knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform conventional aspects of structural analysis and design with supervision.
• Lead small teams and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders to meet project needs.
• Ensure accuracy and quality control in all deliverables.
