Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional in the United States to join the design team. You will perform significant structural analysis and design for projects, collaborating with the Structural Lead and other disciplines, and help develop concepts and models.

Requirements include a BSCE, PE license, 10+ years in structural engineering, and proficiency with IBC/ASCE7/ACI/AISC. This role offers hybrid work across the USA Southeast region and opportunities to lead medium projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading small teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for projects.
• Coordinate with lead engineer and designers across disciplines.
• Ensure design meets code requirements and project constraints.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
