Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional to join our design team as a Lead Structural Engineer. You will perform significant structural analysis and design, work with a lead structural engineer and other disciplines, and contribute to developing design concepts and construction drawings.

You may serve as Lead for small projects or Sub-Lead for larger ones, with opportunities for career growth within a hybrid/remote structure in the USA Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 4 years of Structural engineering experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for projects.
• Lead a team of structural engineers and designers.
• Develop calculations, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Ensure compliance with US building codes including seismic provisions.
