Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Structural Engineering Professional to join the design team, performing structural analysis and design, and collaborating with the Lead Engineer and other disciplines. You will develop concepts, finalize design, and communicate structural requirements on paper and in the model.

This role may involve leading small projects or acting as Sub-Lead on larger ones, with growth opportunities based on performance and attitude.

Qualifications

• BSCE with emphasis in structural engineering and PE preferred.
• Minimum 4 years in structural engineering practice.
• Experience with US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
• Ability to lead teams and manage project scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead calculations, specifications, drawings, and structural model.
• Develop design concepts and communicate requirements to multiple disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers/drafters.
• Ensure quality through detailed checking and coordination with teams.
• Manage schedule, budget, and staffing for structural scope.
