Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Structural Engineer to design and analyze structural systems for ground test stands and facilities. You will perform STAAD/ANSYS analyses, develop 3D models, and produce construction drawings, collaborating with mechanical, CAD, and construction teams to bring test facilities to life.

Qualifications include a B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering, 6+ years of experience, PE license in the U.S., and proficiency with structural software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 6+ years of structural engineering experience in industrial/heavy structures.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (STAAD/ANSYS) and hand calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel frames, thrust structures, and supports under static and dynamic loads.
• Create 3D models and construction drawings; coordinate with CAD/drafting team.
• Release calculations and engineering documentation.
• Support field construction and review RFIs and non-conformances.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure design intent in field.
