Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Level 3 Structural Engineer to lead structural design for infrastructure and building projects nationwide. The role requires a professionally licensed engineer who can obtain additional state licenses as needed and coordinate designs with project goals and regulatory standards.

The position emphasizes mentoring junior staff, developing design standards, and collaborating with clients to ensure alignment with requirements, while staying current with industry trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional engineering license (PE) in good standing; ability to obtain licenses in other states.
• 5–7 years of structural engineering experience focused on infrastructure and building projects.
• Ability to acquire and maintain licenses in multiple states.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations relevant to structural engineering.
• Proficiency in structural software: STAAD, SAP2000, ETABS.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for infrastructure and building projects.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and standards.
• Assist in acquiring professional engineering licenses in other states as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design standards and templates.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to align designs with requirements.
