Job summary
Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for its Advanced Manufacturing team, working on data center-related projects, including new builds, retrofits, and colocations. You will perform diverse structural engineering tasks and coordinate with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
You will grow technically, lead project efforts, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
- Registered Professional Engineer with ability to expand registrations.
- Knowledge of CAD software: AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software: RISA or STAAD.
- Knowledge of ACI/AISC/ASCE 7 and related codes.
- Knowledge of Building Codes; MS Office and Teams use.
- Ability to travel 10–20% to client sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of analyses and create structural models.
- Create computer models for structures and perform member/calculation work.
- Prepare material take-offs, assist schedules and budgeting as needed.
