Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Distinguished Technologist to drive strategic thought leadership for the Tier 1 Industry Vertical Team, shaping account strategy with customers and the account team.

The candidate will build trusted advisor relationships across IT executives and business stakeholders, coordinating with R&D, partners and the CTO office to co-create solutions and expand HPE's presence on the account.

Qualifications

• Four year or graduate degree required.
• 15+ years of practical work experience in IT; technology and solutions creation and selling.
• Global IT experience preferred with GSI consulting experience a plus.
• Expert domain knowledge across the HPE enterprise portfolio.
• Solid Tier One Service Provider industry expertise of at least 4 years.
• Proven ability to position HPE solutions and lead innovative ideas.
• Excellent collaboration across extended teams, partners and customers.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed business metrics.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain awareness of key manufacturing and services industry solutions and trends.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key ISVs and integrators.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and broader aspects of the vertical market to provide insights.
• Be the trusted advisor to the customer and the account team.
• Architect end-to-end solutions with a broad understanding of service provider data centers.
• Document and share ideas across the account while adhering to NDA and firewalls.
• Develop thought leadership presentations/white papers for North America.
• Identify, pursue and win new sales opportunities to expand HPE's footprint and revenue within the account.
