Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Distinguished Technologist to join the Tier 1 Industry Vertical Team as a strategic enterprise architect and technology adviser. The role focuses on broad technical leadership, shaping account strategy, and co-creating solutions with customers in service provider and high-tech industries.

You will mentor teammates, influence investments, and build long term relationships with IT executives and business leaders, guiding HPE's outcomes across the account.

Qualifications

• Four year undergraduate or Graduate degree from an accredited university.
• 15+ years of practical work experience in IT; Technology and Solutions creation and selling.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed business metrics.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain awareness of key manufacturing and services industry solutions and trends.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key ISVs and integrators.
• Be the trusted advisor to the customer and the account team.
• Must be capable of architecting an end-to-end solution and have a broad understanding of the inner workings of service provider data centers.
• Develop thought leadership presentations/white papers to be distributed across North America.
• Share findings with broader HPE and the Office of the CTO ensuring an understanding of the realities of the marketplace and the account.
• Identify, pursue and win new sales opportunities to expand HPE's footprint and revenue within the account.
