You will serve as a trusted advisor to the account teams, influencing strategy and investments across complex IT environments, and helping expand HPE's footprint within strategic accounts.

This remote role offers flexible work from home arrangements with occasional travel to major accounts.

Job Description:

HPE is seeking a Lead Architect for Strategic Accounts, providingbroad technical thought leadership around the HPE portfolio to 3-5 of our largest and most critical clients.

As the trusted advisor to the account team and the customer, you will be the key influencer in decisions regarding strategy and investments made on the account. Through your experience and expertise, you will help the customer meet their business and IT goals while helping HPE expand their relationship with the customer and presence on the account.

This position is located in San Jose, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical point of contact for one or more critical clients
• Proactive engagement with the customer and the account team will ensure HPE is co-defining and co-creating solutions to the customer’s needs, in advance of the competition.
• Provide mentoring and guidance tothe specialty sales, presales and enterprise architect team members.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key ISVs and integrators.
• Maintainawareness of industry trends and broader aspects of the vertical market the customer participates in toprovide forward-thinking insights and suggestions.
• Review trends, processes, and technologies etc. that become available then translate intohow they can be leveraged to address customer issues or goals.
• Document and share ideas acrossthe account, complying withfirewalled orNDA requirements.
• Develop thought leadership presentations/white papers to be distributed across North America.
• Share findings withbroader HPE and the Office of the CTO(accounts, industry and BU's) ensuring an understanding of the realities of the marketplace and the account.
• Ensure that expectations are correctly set/ managed and HPE can deliver what has been promised.
• Identify, pursue and win new sales opportunities to expand HPE’s footprint and revenue within the account.

Education and Experience

• Extensive practical work experiencein IT; Technology and Solutions creation and selling.Global IT experience preferred with GSI Consulting experience a plus.
• Must be capable of architecting an end-to-end solution and have a broad understanding of the inner workings of service provider data centers.

• Expert domain knowledge across theHPE enterpriseportfolio.
