Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Business Operations Senior Associate within the Institutional group. You will partner with senior leadership to tackle high-priority strategic and operational challenges, structuring problems, building models, and turning data into executive recommendations shaping product and segment strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or product strategy with ownership of end-to-end workstreams.
• Proven ability to build quantitative models and business cases informing leadership decisions.
• Familiarity with institutional finance, capital markets, or crypto markets.
• Track record of delivering clear written and verbal recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Exposure to SQL and BI tools or crypto analytics tools is a plus.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Structure complex strategic problems and develop data-backed recommendations.
• Build financial models and business cases to inform product and GTM strategy.
• Understand competitive positioning and crypto landscape to sharpen recommendations.
• Design experiments to validate hypotheses and measure impact across Institutional products.
• Own problems end-to-end from framing to implementation, not just slides.
• Improve processes, frameworks, and operational tooling.
