Job summary

The Baldwin Group is an award-winning insurance brokerage delivering commercial risk management across the U.S. This Commercial Risk Client Executive role manages complex commercial accounts, coordinating a multidisciplinary team to deliver service standards and exceed client expectations.

The role evaluates exposures, educates clients on coverage options, leads marketplace submissions, and builds trusted relationships with clients and insurers at a strategic level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of commercial insurance experience.
• Active state insurance license(s) as required by the applicable State Department of Insurance.
• Experience reviewing, placing, and negotiating loss-sensitive casualty and workers' compensation placements, including captive structures, preferred.
• Preferred industry specialization such as Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Wholesale Trade, Transportation, Retail Trade, Real Estate, or Services.
• Designations such as CPCU, CIC, CRM, or ARM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquires and retains large, complex commercial clients through a deep understanding of risk, risk mitigation, and insurance architecture.
• Develops trusted partnerships with key insurance company partners and broker representatives.
• Leads internal discussions on client renewals, including coverage comparisons, pricing comparisons, historical loss experience, and projected loss picks.
• Prepares complex submissions for the marketplace, including loss picks, deductible stratification, endorsement requests, and exposure information.
• Coordinates the client team to ensure service standards and key deliverables exceed client expectations.
• Assesses final audits to ensure accuracy between client and insurance company partner audit teams.
• Applies data, analytics, and agency management systems to support renewal strategy and to maintain records.
• Builds trusting relationships with clients, partners, brokers, and leaders through integrity and expertise.
