Job summary

The Baldwin Group in Tustin, California, is seeking a Client Executive, Commercial Risk, to manage and service complex commercial accounts at a strategic level. The role focuses on risk assessment, coverage education, and leading marketplace submissions to secure optimal terms for clients.

Responsibilities include coordinating Account Management, Risk Mitigation, Claims Consulting, and Risk Analysts to deliver above-standard service, renewals, and risk-exposure alignment with insurer partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of commercial insurance experience.
• Active state insurance license(s) or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience reviewing, placing, and negotiating loss-sensitive placements, including captive structures.
• Designations such as CPCU, CIC, CRM, or ARM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquires and retains large, complex commercial clients through deep risk understanding and insurance architecture.
• Leads marketplace submissions with loss picks, deductible stratification, endorsements and exposure information.
• Coordinates the client team to exceed service standards and deliverables.
• Assesses audits for accuracy between client and insurance partner teams and risk identification.
• Applies data and agency systems to support renewal strategy and records maintenance.
• Builds trusted relationships with clients, partners, brokers, and firm leaders through integrity and expertise.
