Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Solutions Architect to provide deep technical expertise across hardware, software, and services for customer proposals. You will engage in in-depth discussions, architect cohesive solutions, and guide migrations and integrations.

The role emphasizes relationship building, effective presentations, and the ability to translate technical details into business value for multi-product deployments. Remote/telework option supported.

Qualifications

• 4+ years selling experience with a major storage company
• 4+ years Data/Cyber Resiliency experience with ransomware protection and DR
• 4+ years Data fabric experience; familiarity with HPE products preferred
• 4+ years Single Plane Data management
• Experience solving problems and driving positive business outcomes
• Ability to present architected solutions to retain/grow customers
• AI data services/storage exposure; HPE AI knowledge preferred
• Hands-on expertise in pitching, demos, and complex solutions
• Knowledge of virtualization and at least 2 app stacks (MSSQL, Oracle, SAP)
• Experience with major public clouds (AWS/Azure/Google), certifications preferred
• Expert in selling data lifecycle management portfolio
• Deep knowledge of at least one major storage vendor
• Knowledge of storage industry trends
• Expertise in at least one vertical (FSI, manufacturing, healthcare)
• Self-starter; ramp quickly
• Bachelor degree in engineering or technical university

Responsibilities

• Participates in deep-dive discussions to assess customer IT needs and architect an overall technical solution.
• Collaborates with account teams to communicate key value propositions and negotiation points for product sets and technologies.
• Delivers presentations addressing requirements and links technical features to business benefits.
• Protects and expands HPE's footprint by leveraging new technologies, upgrades, and refreshes to the installed base.
• Keeps pipeline information updated and ensures movement of opportunities to close.
• Facilitates smooth transition from sales to implementation and identifies training needs.
