Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Storage Senior Presales Architect to design and present high-impact data storage solutions for enterprise customers. This remote role emphasizes deep technical expertise, multi-vendor data protection, and AI-ready data services.

The candidate will lead architecture discussions, map customer needs to HPE’s portfolio, and collaborate with sales teams to close deals. A strong track record in storage and virtualization is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of selling experience with a major storage company (Dell/EMC, Pure, NetApp).
• 4+ years of Data/Cyber Resiliency experience – deep understanding of data protection, ransomware, and DR planning (Zerto, Cohesity, Veeam knowledge).
• 4+ years of experience with Data fabric – understanding enterprise storage tech; HPE experience preferred.
• 4+ years Single Plane Data management – manage data lifecycle (create, store, secure, protect, replicate, archive, recover).
• Experience solving problems and driving positive business outcomes for customers.
• Ability to articulate and showcase experience as a solution architect to grow accounts.
• Experience with data for everything AI and AI data services; HPE AI preferred.
• Hands-on expertise in pitching, demoing, and architecting complex solutions.
• Knowledge of virtualization and at least 2 application stacks (MSSQL, Oracle, SAP).
• Cloud hands-on with major providers (AWS/Azure/Google).
• Expert in selling data lifecycle management portfolio: block, file, backup, ransomware protection.

Responsibilities

• Participates in deep-dive discussions and gathers customer IT needs; translates to architecture.
• Collaborates with account teams to communicate value propositions.
• Delivers compelling presentations linking tech to business benefits.
• Protects and expands HPE footprint with upgrades and new tech.
• Keeps pipeline information accurate to nurture deals to close.
• Facilitates transition from sales to implementation with trained teams.
