Job summary
CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Engineer, Storage to design, build, and operate high‑performance storage behind our AI platform. You will shape scalable, multi‑tenant storage and contribute to S3‑compatible object storage, distributed file systems, and integrations across infrastructure teams.
You will work with RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, RoCE, InfiniBand, SPDK, and distributed filesystems to optimize latency and resilience.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience working in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with object storage or distributed filesystems in production environments.
- Experience with storage protocols (e.g. S3, NFS) and file systems such as Ceph, DAOS, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a scalable multi-tenant control plane for storage and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage and distributed file system integration.
- Collaborate across teams to optimize storage performance and reliability; monitor with telemetry and dashboards.
