Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II for its Storage team to build and operate high-performance, multi-tenant storage systems. You will work on the NFS and block storage paths, CSI integration, and the control plane, using Go and Rust within a Kubernetes environment.

You will join a team delivering scalable storage alongside GPU workloads, focusing on reliability, performance, and observability, with cross-functional collaboration across compute, platform, and infra teams.

Qualifications

6+ years building storage systems or distributed infrastructure services.
Production experience with distributed file systems or block storage.
Strong IO performance focus, small-file workloads, crash resilience.
Experience with multi-tenant storage services and data protection.
Go proficiency; Rust or C++ a plus.
Kubernetes experience: controllers, operators, CRDs, CSI.

Responsibilities

Build and operate high-performance, multi-tenant storage services in Go and Rust.
Develop control plane features: provisioning, tenancy, quota, snapshots.
Improve NFS data path reliability and IO performance.
Deliver CSI driver features: dynamic provisioning, resize, snapshots.
Improve observability with telemetry, metrics, dashboards.
Debug production issues in distributed systems and implement lasting fixes.
Collaborate with compute, platform, and infrastructure teams.
