Job summary

CoreWeave is the essential cloud for AI, building a storage platform powering some of the world’s largest AI workloads. We’re seeking a Staff Engineer, Storage to design, build, and operate high-throughput storage behind our AI storage platform, working with infrastructure, compute, and platform teams.

You will contribute to multi-tenant control planes, exabyte-scale object storage, and distributed filesystems, using RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, and modern telemetry for observability, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with object storage or distributed filesystems in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable multi-tenant storage control plane.
• Develop exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage and distributed file systems.
• Collaborate with platform, compute, and operations teams to improve storage performance and reliability.
• Mentor engineers on distributed, high-performance systems.
