Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Project Leader to oversee complex construction projects from setup through delivery. You will coordinate with General Contractors, owners, and subcontractors to maintain schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities include establishing and tracking schedules, managing change orders, reviewing purchase orders, and maintaining cost control. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a proven track record in construction management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Clear communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to plan, cost control, and lead teams.
• Knowledge of construction principles and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact to customers on projects.
• Establish and maintain schedules for drawings and delivery.
• Work with suppliers to align internal and job schedules.
• Collaborate with accounting to manage schedule of values.
• Coordinate with subcontractors.
• Maintain project budget with profit and loss accountability.
• Identify change orders and establish cost where applicable.
• Prepare and track change orders for material beyond contract.
• Review PO and specs to ensure scope matches estimate.
• Minimize site issues and cost impacts.
• Lead to achieve department goals with leadership and collaboration.
