Clayco, a leading on-site construction and development firm, seeks a CDC Project Engineer to coordinate steel procurement execution between project management, fabrication facilities, dispatch, and field operations. You will ensure deliveries are scheduled, received, verified, and documented to support schedule integrity.

The role requires 1–3 years in construction or materials coordination with strong organizational and communication skills, plus willingness to travel to client sites nationwide.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years in construction, project engineering, or materials coordination.
• Experience with steel erection, fabrication, logistics, or materials management preferred.
• Ability to read structural/shop drawings and bills of material.
• Familiarity with delivery documentation (BOLs, packing slips, shipping logs).
• Strong organizational and communication skills for fast-paced on-site work.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate daily and weekly steel deliveries with fabricator and site teams.
• Track fabrication and delivery schedules to align with project sequencing.
• Communicate delivery status and changes to stakeholders.
• Check in delivered steel and verify against bills of lading and drawings.
• Maintain delivery logs and material tracking records.
• Serve as on-site CDC liaison between PM, fabricator, dispatch, and field crews.
