Job summary

Performance Review Institute (PRI) seeks a Principal Engineer to provide technical and engineering management expertise for standards and technical reports. You will facilitate working groups and user forums, develop industry guidance, and support marketing of standards and reports.

This role involves proposing statements of work, coordinating with subcommittees, planning meetings, and delivering technical oversight reports.

Qualifications

• 6 years' experience in automotive or automated vehicle engineering, project management, project engineering, or technical management roles.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, science, or business management.
• Technical/engineering expertise with standards use, development, or auditing (automotive/ automated industry preferred).
• Strong written and oral communication, analytical and presentation skills.
• Ability to organize, manage multiple tasks, and handle confidential information.
• Strong project management and global/cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical/engineering expertise to manage projects and product development for working groups and user forums.
• Develop proposals for statements of work for new/revised standards and technical reports.
• Plan and conduct technical meetings; prepare materials and present results for industry coordination.
• Support technical sessions at Industry Conferences; assist in plan and marketing materials.
• Coordinate agendas, minutes, and communications; facilitate effective team collaboration.
• Identify process improvements and participate in user-experience research to enhance products/services.
• Support the program strategic plan with deadlines, goals, and milestones.
