Performance Review Institute (PRI) is seeking a Principal Engineer to provide engineering management for best practices, standards, and technical report development. You will facilitate and manage working groups, develop proposals for standards and reports, and coordinate industry guidance and certification programs.

Qualifications

• 6 years' experience in automotive or automated vehicle engineering, project management, project engineering, or technical management roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills along with excellent analytical, writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to organize effectively, carry out independent action, work on simultaneous assignments, and perform functions of a confidential manner.

Responsibilities

• Applies job specific technical/ engineering expertise in project management and product development; facilitates task groups.
• Develop proposals for statements of work for new/revised standards and technical reports.
• Plan and conduct technical meetings; prepare materials; facilitate sessions and seminars.
• Support marketing of standards and technical reports; oversee reports through to timely release.
• Coordinate with subcommittees/working groups; provide technical summary reports and issue resolution.
