Job summary

Performance Review Institute (PRI) seeks a Principal Engineer to provide technical and engineering management expertise across standards development and technical report processes. The role involves facilitating working groups, developing industry guidance, and supporting marketing of standards and certification programs.

Occasional travel and collaboration across global teams are expected. Responsibilities include leading technical meetings, coordinating subcommittees, and delivering reports

Qualifications

• 6 years' experience in automotive or automated vehicle engineering, project management, project engineering, or technical management roles.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, science, or business management.
• Technical/engineering expertise with experience in standards use, development, or auditing (automotive industry preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills with excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to organize effectively, handle multiple assignments, and conduct confidential work.
• Strong project management skills and global/cultural sensitivities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage working groups and user forums to develop industry guidance, standards, and technical reports.
• Develop proposals for statements of work for new or revised standards and reports.
• Plan and conduct technical meetings, prepare materials, and present results for industry coordination.
• Support program strategy, deadlines, goals, and milestones; assist with marketing of standards and reports.
• Provide technical oversight reports, review and close non-conformances, and coordinate with subcommittees and working groups.
