Job summary

Performance Review Institute (PRI) seeks a Principal Engineer to provide technical leadership and management for standards and technical report development. You will facilitate working groups, plan meetings, and oversee projects from proposal to release, aligning with company strategy and regulatory requirements.

The role requires extensive experience in automotive/industrial standards, strong communication, and global collaboration.

Qualifications

6+ years experience in automotive or automated vehicle engineering, project management, or technical management.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, science, or business management.
Experience with standards development or auditing in automotive/industrial contexts.
Strong written and oral communication, analytical and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
Global and cultural sensitivity and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

Develop proposals for statements of work for new and revised standards and technical reports.
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate committees, subcommittees and working groups.
Prepare industry guidance, standards, and reports; manage responses to comments.
Lead technical meetings and seminars; draft agendas and minutes.
Support program strategy, deadlines, and milestones.
