Job summary

Performance Review Institute (PRI) is seeking a Principal Engineer to provide technical leadership and engineering management for industry standards and technical reports. You will facilitate and manage working groups, develop proposals, and ensure timely delivery of guidance and reports supporting the automotive/automated vehicle sectors.

Qualifications

• 6 years' experience in automotive or automated vehicle engineering, project management, project engineering, or technical management roles.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, science, or business management.
• Technical/engineering expertise with standards use, development, or auditing (automotive/automated industry preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills including writing, editing, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical/engineering expertise in project management and product development for industry guidance and standards.
• Develop proposals for statements of work for new or revised standards and technical reports.
• Plan and conduct technical meetings, prepare materials, and facilitate sessions/seminars.
• Coordinate industry guidance, standards, and reports with subcommittees and working groups; write agendas and minutes.
• Provide technical oversight reports and ensure timely release of documents; address non-conformances.
• Support subcommittees with technical planning, meeting logistics, and coordination of activities.
