Cribl is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join the Security Products team, focusing on post-detection AI SOC capabilities. You will architect autonomous reasoning, multi-agent investigation frameworks, and evidence synthesis to enable SOCs to operate at machine speed.

This fully remote role offers global collaboration, deep partnerships with product managers and security researchers, and opportunities to shape scalable, low-latency systems across enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience building scale production software.
• Experience leading engineering initiatives and AI SOC, SOAR, or post-detection automation capabilities at scale.
• Deep experience building and deploying production-grade AI systems using LLM orchestration, embeddings, and dynamic tool calling.

Responsibilities

• Architect post‑detection workflows including autonomous triage and containment orchestration.
• Build production-grade reasoning systems using LLMs, embeddings, and context graphs.
• Collaborate with Cribl Detect to ingest high-fidelity signals and trigger investigations and responses.
• Explore agentic paradigms and multi-agent frameworks with rapid prototyping.
• Write core abstractions and establish benchmarks for model accuracy and latency.
• Build safe execution frameworks with transparent reasoning trails and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Partner with product managers and security researchers to translate ideas into plans.
• Represent Cribl's AI SOC vision through architecture reviews and technical blogs.
• Stand-by/on-call/off-hours duties as required.
