Cribl seeks a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the Security Products team to build next‑generation AI SOC capabilities. You will architect autonomous reasoning, multi‑agent investigation, contextual enrichment, and intelligent response orchestration for post‑detection workflows.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience building scale production software.
• Led AI SOC / post-detection automation initiatives at scale.
• Experience with LLM orchestration, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
• Strong understanding of security analyst workflows and MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities

• Architect post‑detection workflows including autonomous triage and containment.
• Build production‑grade AI reasoning systems using LLMs, embeddings, context graphs.
• Ingest high‑fidelity detection signals and trigger automated investigations and responses.
• Explore agentic paradigms and multi‑agent frameworks with rapid prototyping.
• Define core abstractions and protocols for agent communication and performance benchmarks.
• Develop safe execution frameworks with transparent reasoning trails and human oversight.
• Collaborate with product managers and security researchers to turn ideas into executable plans.
• Represent Cribl's AI SOC vision through architecture reviews and technical efforts.
• Possibility of on‑call duties as needed.
