Cribl is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the Security Products team to design and build post-detection, autonomous reasoning, and multi-agent investigation systems. You will drive AI SOC capabilities, contextual enrichment, and intelligent response orchestration to empower modern SOCs to operate at machine speed.

You will lead ontology with LLMs, embeddings, and graph-based data models, collaborate with Cribl Detect and security stakeholders, and contribute to scalable, low-latency,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience; Master’s preferred.
• 12+ years of experience building scale production software.
• Experience leading engineering initiatives and AI SOC, SOAR, or post-detection automation at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect post-detection workflows including autonomous triage and investigation.
• Build production-grade reasoning systems using LLMs, embeddings, and context graphs.
• Work with Cribl Detect to ingest detection signals and trigger investigations and responses.
• Explore agentic paradigms and multi-agent frameworks with rapid prototyping.
• Write core abstractions and design agent communication protocols; review critical code.
