Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the Security Products team, focusing on building next‑generation AI SOC capabilities. You will architect autonomous reasoning, multi‑agent investigation frameworks, contextual enrichment layers, and intelligent response orchestration that enable modern SOCs to operate at machine speed.

This is a fully remote role with Cribl’s remote‑first culture. You’ll collaborate across Cribl Detect and other platforms, drive scalable architectures, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/EE or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of building scale production software.

Responsibilities

• Architect post-detection workflows including autonomous triage and containment orchestration.
• Build production-grade reasoning systems using LLMs, embeddings, and context graphs.
• Collaborate with Cribl Detect to ingest signals and trigger investigations and responses.
• Explore multi-agent frameworks and natural language SOC interfaces with prototypes.
• Write core abstractions and establish benchmarks for accuracy, latency, and reliability.
• Develop safe execution frameworks with transparent reasoning trails and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Partner with product managers and security researchers to translate concepts into executable plans.
• Represent Cribl's AI SOC vision through architecture reviews and blogs.
