Cribl's Engineering org is where new product ideas come to life. We’re seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join the Security Products team to build next-generation AI SOC capabilities after detection.

You will architect autonomous reasoning, multi-agent investigation frameworks, contextual enrichment layers, and intelligent response orchestrations that enable modern SOCs to operate at machine speed. This is a remote-first role and Cribl supports a global, distributed team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or equivalent; 12+ years in scale production software.
• Proven leadership building AI SOC, SOAR, or post-detection automation at scale.
• Experience deploying production AI systems using LLMs, embeddings, and context graphs.
• Design and operate scalable, low-latency distributed systems with complex workflows.
• Deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and security analyst workflows.
• Robust API design to interface with EDR, IdP, Cloud, SIEM/SOAR.
• Ability to lead ambiguous initiatives from concept to production rollout.

Responsibilities

• Architect post-detection workflows including autonomous triage and containment.
• Build production-grade reasoning systems using LLMs and context graphs.
• Collaborate with Cribl Detect to ingest signals and trigger investigations.
• Explore agentic paradigms and multi-agent frameworks with rapid prototypes.
• Define agent communication protocols and review critical code.
• Maintain safe execution frameworks with human-in-the-loop controls.
