Job summary

Cribl, the AI platform for telemetry, is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join the Security Products team. You will own post‑detection workflows and build autonomous reasoning, multi‑agent investigation, and containment orchestration at machine speed.

You’ll work with Cribl Detect to ingest signals, develop LLM‑driven reasoning, and design scalable, low‑latency security systems in a remote‑first environment across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience building scale production software.
• Led AI SOC / post‑detection automation initiatives at scale.
• Experience with AI systems and ML tooling in enterprise software.

Responsibilities

• Architect post‑detection workflows including autonomous triage and containment orchestration.
• Build production‑grade reasoning systems using LLMs and context graphs.
• Collaborate with Cribl Detect to ingest signals and trigger investigations and responses.
• Explore multi‑agent paradigms and rapid prototypes for security workflows.
• Define APIs and abstractions for agent communication and data flows.
• Develop safe execution frameworks with clear reasoning trails and custody chains.
• Partner with PMs and security researchers to translate ideas into executable plans.
• Represent Cribl's AI SOC vision through reviews, blogs, and discussions.
• Stand‑by, on‑call, or off‑hours duties as needed.
