Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the Security Products team to build next‑generation AI SOC capabilities. You will architect autonomous reasoning, multi‑agent investigation, and contextual enrichment layers to enable security operations at machine speed.

Based on your experience, you will lead post‑detection workflows, integrate with Cribl Detect, and design scalable, low‑latency distributed systems. This fully remote role emphasizes collaboration with teams globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience; Master's preferred.
• Experience leading AI SOC/post‑detection automation initiatives at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect post‑detection workflows including autonomous triage and containment orchestration.
• Build production‑grade reasoning systems using LLMs and context graphs to formulate hypotheses and deliver explainable verdicts.
• Collaborate with Cribl Detect to ingest signals and trigger investigations and responses.
• Explore agentic paradigms and multi‑agent frameworks; validate concepts through prototypes.
• Write core abstractions, design agent communication protocols, and define benchmarks for accuracy and latency.
